I’m having my twenty-first Brushstrokes With Impact™ “Paint-a-Thon”! On Friday, August 11th, I will be setting up my easel at Twice-Told Tales (11 Pleasant Street, Brunswick) and painting from roughly 10:30am-6:30pm. At the end of the day, the completed painting will be raffled off, and 50% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Friends of Curtis Memorial Library. Raffle tickets can be purchased in person for $5 each or 3 for $10. I will also have a “pop-up” show of my art at Twice-Told Tales and 10% of all my art sales (excluding magnets, but including totes) from this show will be donated to the Friends of Curtis Memorial Library. Thanks to everyone’s support, in twenty months of doing these “Paint-a-Thon”s, I’ve been able to raise over $3200 for various local and national charities. Please consider helping me to keep that running total climbing: support independent art and a good cause while having fun at the same time! Plus, Twice-Told Tales has a fantastic selection of beautiful used books at very reasonable prices. If you haven’t taken a peek at the newly remodeled space yet, now’s your chance to stop by.
